Useful travel guide

If you want to travel to Japan and want to know what any self-respecting otaku must see and visit, Aimee Major's book, "Japan Ai," is an entertaining way to find out! It's a great read with funny anecdotes and includes a helpful glossary and resource guide. This book earns 5 chibi tigers on Mama's scale for a wonderful story, great illustration, and an excellent, easy-to-read layout.

If you've already been to Tokyo, you will find familiar sights and experiences and enjoy reminiscing about your Shinjuku shopping meltdown or first "Electric Town" sensory overload ("OMG! Did you see the SIZE of that flat panel!? Look at that cell phone, its hella TINY! WHAT? An entire floor the size of a video store of just ANIME? I'm going to faint...") - Yes, that really was me. :P
